Jayne D'Alessandro-Cox is an *award-winning, top-rated, and distinguished historian and author of the critically acclaimed book, Thomas Jefferson~From Boy to Man. Recognized for her analytical prowess, she's an award-winning audiobook director and screenplay writer.

Hailing from Long Island, NY,  Jayne was a NY Jets cheerleader during the iconic Joe Namath era.  After a successful stint in the travel industry, she settled in Charlottesville, Virginia, immersing herself in Thomas Jefferson's legacy. 

 

With accolades ranging from "Finalist" to "High-Ranking Finalist" for her screenplay, Jefferson, she remains a dedicated promoter of Virginia's rich historical heritage, while pursuing opportunities for it in the film industry.

 

Ms. Cox is the author of Jesus for Children~A Trilogy of Short Stories.

 

*Thomas Jefferson-From Boy to Man, received "1st Place Winning Biography" by Pacific Book Review, and "Honorable Mention" and a "5-Star" rating by Readers Favorite.  The audiobook received a "Bronze Medal" and a "5-Star" rating by Readers Favorite, as well as "Finalist" in the Multi-Voice Actor category by the Audio Publishers Association. 

 

Ms. Cox served as an instructor for OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) through the University of Virginia, regarding her book, Thomas Jefferson~From Boy to Man.

 

Ms. Cox has volunteered at Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, and currently volunteers at the Jefferson Library.
